Full Biography
As a young boy from Invergordon in the North of Scotland, the Highland Bagpiper joined the military at 17 years old. Here, he soon learnt how to play the bagpipes and continued to study at ‘The Army School of Bagpipe Music and Highland Drumming’.
With lots of hard work and dedication, the Highland Bagpiper was very quick to learn and soon starting performing with The Highlanders Pipes and Drums at large events such as The Edinburgh Tattoo.
Over a long career of 20+ years, the Highland Bagpiper has been very lucky to have played in locations all over the world; from performances for Royalty at Buckingham Palace to playing the bagpipes in Iraq and Afghanistan whilst on tour with the battalion!
Now performing as a bagpiper for all occasions, the Highland Bagpiper is regularly hired to play at weddings, corporate events, private parties and funerals. Whether piping for your guests arrival, during photographs, as part of your ceremony/service, as you walk down the aisle or even as a surprise, the Highland Bagpiper would love to perform for you.
